This place is SO cool. I felt like we were transported to another country. Atmosphere was fantastic. We were guests for a wedding so I don't know how the technical/scheduling side went but the wedding was beautiful. Def recommend it for at least a trip!

We recently photographed a wedding here and were blown away by the stunning grounds and castle. It fulfilled our couples dreams of getting married in a castle, and then some. We look forward to being back for another wedding next year!

Thornewood Castle is one of the coolest buildings I’ve seen in all of Washington State! I love photographing weddings here! With its timeless and majestic presence, this castle provides a perfect setting for an unforgettable wedding. I was a guest of a wedding here. The venue was absolutely gorgeous. I was unsure which staff were from the castle and which were a third party, so I cannot say much about food or lodging. The wedding was very personalized and it appears the castle was very accommodating with that.

The room was amazing. Check in was smooth however when we went to check out it took us a while to find someone. As for the low rating for location it is located in a gated community and gates were locked when we came. Had to wait for someone to let us in the was not clear instructions in the confirmation.

Beautiful venue. Was trying to have my wedding here. Shortly after making a deposit, we had a medical emergency that would have prevented us from having our day, due to an upcoming life-saving surgery. With over 6 months notice, they refused to adjust our wedding dates. We tried everything to work with them, we still wanted to have our wedding here (starting positive over the surgery) but they absolutely refused to budge. Now we're out our deposit, and have to wait over a year to recoup our losses to get married at a different venue. In short; cold, callous, poor business practices that probably will cost them more than it cost us.
